Welcome!
I am Julie, and I established Alpha Language Centre in January 2018 with the primary aim of providing friendly, interactive and practical English classes to adults in and around Aberdeen.
I feel passionately about providing students with plenty of opportunity to advance their speaking skills. I am driven by a genuine desire to help students grow in confidence as well as ability. And I see learning a language as a key way to make local friends, learn more about the local culture and manage your daily life in the UK with greater ease.
Sylvia Elbec, a highly-experienced English teacher, joined Alpha Language Centre in 2020 on a part-time basis. We have a combined teaching experience of more than 20 years and place relationship at the very heart of what we do.
As Alpha Language Centre teachers, we derive great satisfaction from helping students of all ages, nationalities and levels learn the English language and we look forward to giving you a warm Scottish welcome.
